VI International October Conference on Theoretical Economics

On ╬ctober 14-15, 2024, the New Economic Association, the Journal of the New Economic Association, the Institute of Economics of the RAS, the HSE University, and the Moscow School of Economics at Lomonosov Moscow State University are holding the VI International October Conference on Theoretical Economics "Political and Economic Mechanisms of Public Choice".

Venue: Moscow School of Economics, Lomonosov Moscow State University (Leninskie Gory, 1, Bldg. 61, auditorium 113).

The papers included in the conference program will be published in 2025 in the proceedings of the VI October International Conference on Theoretical Economics.

Application requirements

1. To apply, all participants and attendees must register via the website of the Journal of the New Economic Association. The application deadline is August 25, 2024, for participants, and September 15, 2024, for attendees.

2. The papers to be presented at the conference must contain the results of original scientific research. A detailed abstract (in Word or RTF format, 500 to 1000 words / 4000 to 10000 characters, in Russian or English) should be attached to the application. In the abstract, the applicant should state the problem in question and describe the approach used to solve it, as well as the main results obtained.

3. The decision on whether to include the papers in the conference program will be made by the Program Committee with the involvement of independent experts after September 29, 2024, following which, by the end of September, the draft program will be published on the conference website. Authors of the papers included in the draft program will have to confirm their participation using their accounts in the online application system of the NEA Journal website. Otherwise, the papers will be excluded from the program.
